habe mich schon ein bischen schlau gemacht aber irgendwie will der fastdownload nicht wie ich möchte grosses Grinsen ... ich komme garnicht erst drauf ?!

habe da noch ein Problem unglücklich ich wollte die map burg auf unserem Server laufen lassen nur leider stürtzt dann mein cod 4 ab ?! aber bei den stani maps is alles ok ^^ verwirrt

Die Burg funzt feini, hast Du die IWD Datei im usermaps Verzeichnis drin?
Desweiteren: Entmülle Deinen modwarfare Ordner von allem, was da nicht hingehört...

Liegt dein usermaps Ordner auf gleicher Ebene wie der mods Ordner?

geb mal die genau ordner strucktur.

mal als bsp mein webspace für redirect
hab bei mir alles in einen ordner namens cod4 und in diesen die beiden ordner mods und usermaps

cod4/mods/dein_modordner/dein_mod + cfg´s und mod.ff
cod4 /Usermaps/deine_maps/ff´s + (bereinigte) iwd

und als adresse wäre das an diesen bsp:
seta sv_wwwBaseURL "http://www.sickclan.com/cod4"

wie gesagt ist nur ein bsp damit du siehst wie es funzt. allerdings wenn du die struktur übernimmst sollte es funzen.

hab da ne kurze frage: gibt es ein cutsom map limit ?! max .... 20 maps ?! oder so !?!

Die Grenze gibt es: Für die Maprotation in der server-Config gibt es eine Beschränkung, was die maximale Anzahl der verwendeten Zeichen angeht.
Es macht jedoch einen Unterschied, ob man einen Windows- oder Linuxserver besitzt. Linux läßt bedeutet mehr Zeichen zu.

Wo genau die Grenze liegt, weiß ich leider nicht auswendig. Du wirst schon mitbekommen, wenn dein Server nicht mehr läuft, weil die Rotation zu groß ist. Augenzwinkern

Wie schon tausendfach hier im Forum angemerkt:

Bitte nutze einen eigenen, individuellen Namen (zB sickclan) für deinen Mod-Ordner und richte diesen entsprechend ein. Sonst wird es immer wieder zum Zumüllen und den nachfolgenden Problemen kommen.

Achte darauf auch den Redirect entsprechend anzupassen. Bitte auf Kleinschreibung achten.

richtig, benutz nen eigenen namen dann kann man einfach den ordner löschen und sich neu ziehen wenns probleme geben sollte ohne das orginal spiel zu verändern.

ein ergänzung zu begrenzungen bei linux und windows: du hast zwar bei windows weniger string länge dafür kannst aber maps mit mehr als 51,9mb laufen lassen. die 51,9mb sind auf die ff datei bezogen und nicht auf die gesamtgröße aller dateien.
