Meldung "run in safe mode"

hallo ihr Lämmer...

auch ich hab mir die UK Version von MW2 in NL zugelegt. Am offiziellen Releasedatum konnte ich das Spiel nicht starten , konnte zwar installieren von beiden DVDs , aber bekam fehlermeldung: "it appears that modern warfare 2 did not quit properly the last time it ran. do u want to run in safe mode?"

hab also an diesem tag 4x neuinstalled mit selben ergebnis...

Am 12.11. hab ich , ohne systemaenderungen !!, probiert zu starten ---> und es lief aufeinmal. Konnte ohne Probleme spielen sowie SP und MP.

Am 13.11. gabs nen update, welches mein steamclient auch automatisch saugte.. und wie ihr eraten werdet >>> Spiel ging net mehr . Selbe Meldung wie am 1. Tag.

Sonntags den 15.11. lief es dann wieder problemlos ohne was an software bzw hardware getan zu haben..

Heute am 16.11. geht es mal wieder net.. mein Rechner stand sogar an ueber nacht vom 15.11. zum 16.11.

Ich weiss keinen Rat mehr , is ziemlich strange alles .. Vielleicht hat von euch einer dasselbe und weiss evtl mehr darüber.

PS: nen m8 hat selbe Version (UK) , und hat keine Probleme .. Steamclient is auf english eingestellt , download region auf Germany und alles funktioniert zu 100 prozent bei ihm .

Und immer wenn ich steam neustarte und bekomm die meldung , wie anfangs erwaehnt, kommt nach klick auf savemode oder auch normal starten nen Steamfenster mit inhalt: completing installation , danach wird der MP auch synchronisiert...

Die Meldung läßt darauf schließen, dass das Spiel in irgendeiner Form gecrasht ist. Ursachen gibt es etliche, meist kommen Treiberprobleme als Ursache in Frage.

Welches Betriebssystem benutzt du?
Welche Grafikkarte, Motherboard und Soundkarte?
Treiber alle aktuell?

Treiber sind alle aktuell... nur wie gesagt gab es keinen systemcrash...konnte immer normal beenden , selbst bei 1. installation bekam ich sofort diese meldung, obwohl es nocht nicht 1mal lief

Die Geschichte mit SLI macht mich stutzig, da ich keine SLI-Optionen im Spiel entdecken konnte. Kann man SLI testweise deaktivieren?

Bezüglich Steam: Steam mal komplett beenden. Steam neu starten und schauen, ob der Download noch mit 100% angezeigt wird.

hatte ich auch schon probiert... also sli deaktiviert und auch physx ausgeschalten --> ohne erfolg !

wie gesagt , als es lief war SLi auch an, und lief auch ohne Probleme.

Steam zeigt auch nach neustart 100 prozent ready an !

Wenn "it appears that modern warfare 2 did not quit properly the last time it ran. do u want to run in safe mode?", kannst du dann nein auswählen und kommt dann eine Abfrage, ob die Einstellungen zurückgesetzt werden sollen?
Falls ja, setze mal die Einstellungen zurück.

nee kommt nicht... kann zwar nein klicken usw , aber dann bekomm ich selbe meldung wieder .

irgendwie tipp ich auf 24h IP change, da ich ja ne dynamische IP hab... bin aber net sicher

das kannst auch schneller testen in dem du den stecker des routers ziehst und er sich dann neu connecten muss dann hat er auch ne neue ip.

IP-Change ist ja kein Beinbruch. Ist bei mir auch.

Bei Steam gibt es noch Optionen (Rechtsklick auf dem Multiplayer -> Eigenschaften -> Lokale Dateien -> Integrität prüfen und Cache defragmentieren). Führe mal die Optionen aus, veilleicht bringt es etwas.

auch schon probiert ... er haut auch raus , das 1 file net hinhaut , und zieht nen update...

allerdings ohne wirkung --> selber fehler ...

hab das mit beiden files gemacht, also sp und mp

was mir auffällt , das der 15.11. nicht geloggt ist... da ging das spiel auch...

denke mal app 10180 ist SP und app 10190 der MP ...

Wenn alles nix hilft könntest du dich auch an den Support von Steam wenden (https://support.steampowered.com) um abzuchecken, ob das Problem am Spiel, an deinem System oder an Steam liegt.

Ist ja doch ein sehr seltsames Problem verwirrt

Die Meldung mit "run in save mode" hatte ich auch schon mehrmals; hat mich aber bisher nicht sonderlich gestört. Gestern kam noch das Problem hinzu, dass die iw4mp.exe noch einem Steam-disconnect gar nicht mehr funktionierte. Daten verifiziert, eine Datei fehlerhaft, neu runtergeladen, gleiches Problem. Dann habe ich mir mal die Dateien unter \Programme\Valve\Steam\SteamAp\Common\call of duty modern warfare 2 angeschaut und jede Menge temporärer Steam-Dateien gefunden und eine _iw4mp-Datei. Diese Dateien inklusive der iw4mp.exe habe ich gelöscht (kann man auch vorsichtshalber woanders speichern) und MW2 neu verifiziert. Diesmal wurde die iw4mp.exe (komplett) neu heruntergeladen und das Spiel startete wieder ohne Fehlermeldung und seitdem kommt auch die Meldung bzgl. "run in save mode" nicht mehr.

Gibbet bei MW2 sowas wie die clientregistry.blob

Bei anderen Steam basierenden Spielen ist diese zu löschen, erst dann werden in manchen Fällen Updates geladen!

Könnte auch sowas ähnliches sein...

Die clientregistry.blob gibt es nicht bei MW2, aber diese zu löschen ist auch eine Möglichkeit. Diese wird bei einem Steam-Neustart wieder erstellt (man muß dann sein PW wieder neu eingeben). Zu finden unter ...\Programme\Steam.

hab das auch mal probiert. er zieht zwar die neue exe aber bringt mich nicht weiter... er schmeisst immer wieder diese meldung raus...

hab heut mal die msinfo32 ausgelesen ud hab mal die history gecheckt ....

xDDDDDD derbe fehler in etlichen applikationen ( nach 2 jahren wohl kein wunder... ohne neuinstall)

also rechner platt gemacht .. treiber auf neusten stand gesetzt, und es geht sofort ^^
