Note #7: I just forgot to say that I defragmentated my hard-disk!
I hope this can help you, too!

Note #6: I started new try after a tip of a friend and installed CoD2 again...! I´tried to play on a server running with PB and the 1.2 Version instead of the new 1.3 version! Now my PC didn´t freeze and I got a kicking reason: "PB Init Failure"!
Does this information help you? If it doesn´t I try to put into practice the suggestions from Note #5!
Regards!

Note #5: If you are getting full lockups of the computer when entering a PB enabled Server, do the following:
- check if it happens on non-PB server
- check for latest graphics driver
- check for latest chipset driver
- if you have a SATA controller - see below
nForce4-Board:
As a nForce4 user you should make sure you have up-to-date nForce drivers installed (the original drivers for nForce4 are known to cause problems). Do not forget to first uninstall the old drivers!
Get the drivers from here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_...2_amd_6.66.html
SiS965L, SiS180, SiS965, SiS964 Chipset + SATA:
If you have this chipset, please install the following driver:
http://driver2.sis.com/raid/raid304a.zip
Silicon Image Sil 3x12A SATA RAID:
Installing this driver will fix the issue. Note that it is just for RAID controller.
ULi 1695 Chipset:
Installing this driver will fix the issue:
ftp://www.uli.com.tw/driver/Integrated213.zip
SATA controller:
Check what SATA controller was built into your system. Check on the controller manufacturers website for updated drivers (especially WHQL drivers).
If none was found check the chipset manufacturers website for such a driver, after that check the mainboards manufacturers website.
If no success at all these places do the following:
Delete the driver in the device manager. Let windows find the driver and let it search for a capable driver at "windows update". It should find a WHQL certified driver now. That should work.
Also, close all other programs (especially debuggers both user mode and kernel), they could be interfering with PB.
We have found that IOMEGA drivers have issues that cause crashes. Disable any Zip or Jaz Drives. Card Readers can suffer from the same issue. Lastly, RamDisks are problematic.
If you need more help, please let me know which motherboard you have in your computer. I can point you in the right direction for the right driver update then, thanks.

Note #4: "After updating PB" = After the PB-Update...

Note #3: When I´m kicked I see no kicking reason! After updating PB I saw few times a kickin reason but this is already some days ago and I can´t remember! Sorry
When I play online on a server with activated PB my whole PC freezes! As a consequence I must push the resetbutton...
But when I´m playing online in a server without PB everything works...

Note #2: Which kicking reason do you see when you are kicked? Or does you your whole PC freeze while trying to play online?

Mein "Issue":
Hello,
I´m playing Call Of Duty 2 and tried (almost) everything to manual update PunkBuster (new install) ..., because I always be kicked playing on a server with activated PB...
But I become not really kicked, the pc doesn´t react (it doesn´t matter what I´m doing) and COD2 is also hanging...
