Fragen zu Wildcards eXtreme 1.8

Nightwing
Hi

Zitat:

Known Issues
-----------
Linux Servers: You can now use extented obituaries (set wwx_obituary "8") but its NOT advisable or recommended
If you enable anything above setting 4 then your console log WILL get ENORMOUS.
If you dont care, or dont use a console log...well then whats stopping ya......

Linux Servers: Same goes for the WW2X statsboard, it does show names now but will clutter your console log

Head and helmet popping are known to cause server crashes

Using the rain setting can cause serious lag on your server

Knives cant be picked up again after you switched them with another weapon
Knife impact on players occasionly causes them to blow up.

Fire/gas/stickie bombs use heavy fx....may cause lag on your server when overused

code:

						if(self.wwx_obmonpmsg) attacker iprintlnbold(&"CUSTOM_ADMIN_NAME", &"OBITUARY_HEADSHOT");

So mein ichs:

Code einblendenCode angehängt. Klicke hier zum Ein-/Ausblenden

code:
1:
2:
3:
4:
5:
REFERENCE			WW2X_DM
LANG_ENGLISH		"^1Wildcards^7 : ^1DeathMatch ^7settings"
REFERENCE			WW2X_DM
LANG_GERMAN			"^1Wildcards^7 : ^1DeathMatch ^7Einstellungen"

code:
1:
2:
3:
4:
5:
6:
7:
// Client Download Settings. (0=off/1=on) Used for MODS, Custom Maps
set sv_allowdownload "1"
//set sv_dl_maxRate "84000"	 // Max download speed 42000 = 12kb
seta sv_wwwDownload "1"
seta sv_wwwBaseURL "http://cod2.rockdays.de/"
seta sv_wwwDlDisconnected "1"

Zitat:

you need to set a normal rotation as well......the first time you restart the server it picks a map from the normal rotation....after that it goes to the playerbased ones.

as for the mapvote.....ill look into that one

EDIT:

try this:

_wwx_main.gsc in the ww2x folder:

In wwxEndMap() change:

// launch mapvote
if(level.wwx_mapvote && !level.wwx_pbrotate) ww2x\_wwx_mapvote::main();

Into

// launch mapvote
if(level.wwx_mapvote) ww2x\_wwx_mapvote::main();

let me know if this helps you
