Hallo, da bin ich mal wieder, pünktlich zum Start des neuen Games was ich natürlich seit heute mein eigen nenne.
Im Gegensatz zu allen Vorgängern scheinen aber meine beiden Laufwerke
1 x DVD-RW ND-1000A von NEC und
1 x GDR8161B0042 von LG Electronics
die DVD nicht zu erkennen.
Nutze ich den Brenner zum lesen und installieren startet er nicht automatisch das Installmenü sondern labbert mich voll von wegen "Datenträger einlegen" und nutze ich das normale DVD Laufwerk dann hängt sich mein Explorer auf
Das letze aktuelle Game was ich installiert hatte war World in Conflict, das funktioniert auch nach wie vor in den Laufwerken, nur ich bekomme aufs verrecken nicht CoD 4 installiert.
Ein Versuch die Firmware beider Geräte zu aktualisieren schlug fehl, bei dem einem meinte das System, er würde das Laufwerk zum Updaten nicht finden und beim anderen wäre angeblich das Firmwareupdate nicht geeignet...
Thx für ein paar Ansöße zur Behebung des Problem

Hast Du evtl. irgendwelche virtuellen Laufwerke eingerichtet? Hatte ein ähnliches Problem mal bei einem anderen Game... Sonst hätte ich da leider keine Idee im Moment...

LG-Laufwerke scheinen wohl öfters Probleme zu verursachen ...
Hast Du mal versucht ob es mit der Autoplayfunktion vom Brenner evtl. funktioniert.

virtuelle Laufwerke sind keine drauf, der Brenner erkennt nicht mal das ein Datenträger eingelegt ist, somit geht auch keine Autoplayfunktion
Ich zieh mir derweil ein Image aus dem Netz, den Crack Mist brauch ich net, hab den Key ja vor mir
Brauch man für den MP auch die DVD oder wie früher nur beim SP?

Für den MP brauchst Du nur einen gültigen Key, keine DVD.

All background applications must be shutdown prior to running the game.
If you have multiple drives capable of reading the disc, then try installing from your other drive(s).

Shutting down all background programs (Click here for

1) Press Ctrl+Alt+Del keys to bring up the Close Program window.
2) The only programs you need to leave open are Systray and Explorer.
3) Highlight the program you want to close and click on the End Task button.
4) Once all the programs are closed EXCEPT Systray and Explorer, you can try the game once again.

aber bei dem was die vorschlagen (und ich hab für das game bezahlt, da erwarte ich das ich es einlegen und spielen kann) sitz ich ja weihnachten noch bei der installation*g*
aber ich hab die installfiles mittlerweile bekommen, mein original key wurde auch genommen und nu gehts los ^^
