Mapliste wird nicht verwendet [GELÖST]

Hallo zusammen!
Seit ein paar Tagen habe ich ein Problem mit meinem COD4 Server.
Bisher habe ich eine Standard-Maprotation verwendet. Nun will ich aber, dass auch verschiedene Spielmodi verwendet werden. Also habe ich die sv_mapRotation entsprechend angepasst.

Ich starte den Server mit folgender Zeile:

Wie man sieht, weicht die Mapliste, die der Server lädt (oben) völlig anders aus, wie die, die ich haben will.

Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen ?
Ich muss zugeben, dass ich nicht übermäßig viel wissen über die Config habe, aber ich dachte, für eine Maplist sollte es reichen :)

Mich wundert es, dass der Server überhaupt vernünftig läuft:
+set net_port 28111 +set net_ip 192.168.0.130

Laut deinem Startparameter verwendest du Linux und weist dem Server die Adresse 192.168.0.130:28111 zu.
Das sieht aus wie eine interne Adresse, weswegen dein Server meines Erachtens nie und nimmer von außerhalb über diese IP erreichbar ist.

Dann steht in deiner Config:

Hier weist du nun die Serveradresse 85.214.36.98:28128 zu.
Haken bei der Sache: Der Aufruf der mmlsrv.cfg erfolgt erst nach einem Map_rotate, was dazu führen könnte, dass dein Server die mmlsrv.cfg niemals zu Gesicht bekommt, weil zuvor eine Standard-Config geladen wird.

Da alles reine Spekulatiion ist, teste mal folgenden Startparameter:

screen -A -m -d -S COD4 ./cod4_lnxded +set loc_language 2 +set dedicated 2 +set sv_punkbuster 0 +set net_ip 85.214.36.98 +set net_port 28128 +exec mmlsrv.cfg +map_rotate

So sollte es klappen, sofern IP und Port stimmen.

set net_ip und set net_port sind doch write protected, d. h., die können eh nicht per cfg gesetzt werden und sind nur infomäßig mit drin oder vertue ich mich da...? Hab es zumindest so in Erinnerung.

Und geht es hier evtl. um einen Home-Server oder wie bist Du auf die interne IP gekommen?

Nachdem ich die Parameter getauscht habe funktioniert die Maprotation so wie sie soll. DANKE smile

Das mit der IP war ein versehen. Damit ich nicht immer den Server unterbrechen muss, um irgendwas ausprobieren zu können habe ich mir zu Hause einen Linux-Server aufgesetzt. Die mmlsrv.cfg kommt vom Internetserver, die Startparameter sind mit dem Internet bis auf die IP und den Port identisch. Ich hatte sie allerdings von meinem lokalen Server kopiert, weil die Datei gerade greifbar war rotes Gesicht .

Wie Yoda richtig schreibt ist das für den Betrieb tatsächlich unerheblich. Alles was zählt ist der Port und die IP, die in den Startparametern übergeben werden. Wenn ich den Internetserver so gestartet hätte wäre er wirklich nie erreichbar gewesen.

Ich danke euch herzlich für die Antworten. Das war extrem hilfreich.
