The files available for download from this page are only for manually updating existing installations.
NOTICE: PunkBuster is designed to auto-update itself during gameplay. PBSetup is the easiest method of manually updating PunkBuster for most users (players and admins).
PunkBuster (CoD2) Security Files
The following files are only needed if your PunkBuster doesn't update by itself. Right click the appropriate link below and choose "save as" to your "pb" folder - make sure the file you save is saved with the filename shown below.
For Players Filename: pbsec.htm
For Admins Filename: pbsecsv.htm
PunkBuster (CoD2) Player Client Files
The following files are only needed if your PunkBuster doesn't update by itself. Right click the appropriate links below and choose "save as" to your "pb\\htm" folder - make sure the file you save is saved with the filename shown below. Players only need the files that correspond to their Operating System, Server Admins need all six files.

PB Client v2.208 for Linux Filename: lc002208.htm

PunkBuster (CoD2) Server Files
The following binary builds are only needed if your PunkBuster Server doesn't update by itself. Right click the appropriate link below and choose "save as" to your home "pb" folder (note home is where fs_homepath points) - make sure the file you save is saved with the filename shown below. Then issue a /pb_sv_restart command to restart the PB Server with the new version. Players do not need any of these files, Server Admins only need the file that corresponds to their Operating System.

Pre-Release (CoD2) Server Binaries
This section is for Server Admins who would like to test pre-release binary builds of the PB Server.
These pre-release versions of the PB Server can be installed without restarting the game server. Please make a copy of your existing pbsv.dll (or pbsv.so/pbsv.mac depending on O/S) file before installing a pre-release version so you can get back to where you are now if necessary. 'Right-click' the appropriate link below and 'save as' into the "pb" folder located inside the path pointed to by the server's fs_homepath variable. After the download, issue a pb_sv_restart command into the server console. Please send feedback regarding the testing and report anything that looks unusual
