Hallo Leute
Ich brauche mal eure Hilfe , ich weiss echt nicht mehr weiter .
Also , wir haben auf unserem server den Pam4 mod (4.00 final) installiert , und fast alles scheint zu laufen , aber eben nur fast ^^
Wir wollten einen "Pumpgun only" Server für uns machen .
Ich habe das Problem , dass er mir irgendwie meine Weaponscontrol.cfg nicht liest . Wir haben alle Waffen ausser eben die Pumguns in der Weapons. cfg auf 0 gestellt , aber trotzdem kann ich alle waffen auswählen .
Und im Serverbrowser , nennt sich unser Server " CoD4 Host" , obwohl ich in der defaultserver.cfg den Server in "Pumpgun only" gewechselt habe .
Könnt ihr mir sagen was ich da falsch mache ?
Ich trage euch unten mal ein wie die 2 cfgs bei uns aussehen , vielleicht erkennt ja einer von euch gleich den fehler :

Du musst dran denken auch den Bereich ab hier:

anzupassen (meine güte, was ein englisch. wo habt ihr die configs bloß her? *grusel*)
Da dürft ihr den einzelnen Klassen auch keine Waffen zuweisen, sonst kann man sie trotzdem auswählen.

individuelle Namen sind ohnehin immer besser, auch für die eigene Übersicht. Deshalb nutze ich zB config-namen wie wgswar_cb.cfg, wgs_pam.cfg oder wgsranked.cfg um die Dateien immer auf einen Blick zuordnen zu können. So kann man mehrere verschiedene in einem Ordner lagern und nach Bedarf manuell ausführen.
Auch der Server tut sich dann damit leichter.

Mit Tools wie miniadmin3 oder hlsw kann man bequem Config-Dateien per Mausklick ausführen und nebenbei den Server steuern.
Wäre vielleicht ein Versuch wert, wenn du dir mal so ein Rcon-Tool anschaust.

Ok , ich hab das miniadmin , aber habs mir nie so genau angesehen , vielen Dank erstmal für eure Hilfe .
Jetzt habe ich aber doch noch noch ein Problem entdeckt .
Wenn ich z.B. Search und Destroy spiele , da die bombe lege und die geht hoch , macht der Server irgendwie nicht weiter , sprich , plötzlich steht da : Rundensieg , Ziel zerstört . Was ja eigentlich normal ist , aber dann gehts eben nicht mehr weiter , plötlich steht da : Zeitüberschreitung bei Serververbindung , und der Server wird in der Serverliste als offline angezeigt .
Woran kann dass denn liegen ?

Das liegt eventuell daran, dass du zwar Waffen deaktiviert/verboten hast, diese aber immer noch in den Standardklassen als Vorauswahl drin sind.
Oder aber du hast dich beim Umschreiben der Standardklassen vertippt, so dass er die zugewiesenen Waffen/Perks nicht erkennt. Das sieht man zB wenn das entsprechende Feld bei der Auswahl bei Waffe oder Perk dieses grün-lila Karomuster hat. Wählt man die Klasse aus, schmiert der Server bei Rundenende ab.
Das erfordert Fleißarbeit, die configs anzupassen. Deshalb schrieb ich ja weiter oben, dass du die Standardklassen auf deine Wünsche umschreiben musst.
Clutzi hat was ähnliches mit einem reinen Sniperserver, vielleicht weiß er was man bei der Waffe eintragen muss. ob "none" oder "null".
Es könnte aber auch ein Fehler in der gametypes.cfg sein. Poste die doch mal hier rein bitte.
