Hey! Ich weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll.
Achtung viiiel zu lesen
Alsoooo,
wir haben einen 1.0 CoD2 Server mit Admiral Mod 2.105 R mit der entsprechenden Config, die ich noch hier rumliegen hatte und ersetzte nur die wichtigsten Sachen von meiner alten Config in der neuen.
Auf anfragen der Member ladete ich vorgestern 3 Maps hoch. Ich versuchtet das so, das man die Maps nicht runterladen muss nur wenn sie dran ist (laut beschreibung hier) das klappte auch, den versuchte ich auch noch das, dass die Maps vom http Server runtergeladen werden. Nur das klappte nicht. In der Conifg selber änderte ich nur ein paar Dinge wie zb neuen Schriftzug bzw Welcomentext. Auch die Masterserver waren neu eingstellt bzw von der neuen Conifg übernommen (das waren ja noch viel mehr
) Doch als ich das alles so an hatte bekannen die Probleme.
Es kamen keine bzw kaum leute rauf. Sie mussten erstmal einiges runterladen!? Nur was weiß ich selber nicht, den ich musste die Maps nicht laden (ich hatte sie auch noch nicht). Nach 5 Minuten waren 3 am saugen und ich war mit 1 Spieler am zocken.
Normalerweise (das kein Witz) starte ich den server neu und der ist in 30 Sekunden wieder voll (nur gott weiß warum) - Der Server war immer voll so ab 10 Uhr bis 0 Uhr. Nun ist der Server nicht mal halb voll?!
Auch einige einstellungen waren anders, die wir nicht wollten!
Zugleich würde unser Server nicht mehr in der Serverliste angezeigt.
Alles schön und gut, nun beschloss ich, auf Grund der Vorfälle, die Maps runterzuschmeißen und die alte Config wieder raufzuladen.
Ja denkste, die Sachen funktionieren immer noch nicht

Nun erlautere ich mal die einzelden Probleme. Aber erstmal ne dumme frage.
1. Wo muss die Config NUR drin sein, den ich glaube standartmaässig war sie in Main ordern und nun habe ich in den 3 Ordner ( admiral_mod_1_543 + am_2105R + main ) eine config. Habe warscheinlich irgenwo mal eine ausversehen reingetan und nun ersätze ich immer alle 3 ^^
2. Warum wird unser Server in der Serverliste, mit der alten Config, nicht mehr angezeigt obwohl er es vorher ja ging?
3. Warum hat man nach den man Spawnt keine Waffe in der Hand (erst nach 3 Sekunden)
4. Wenn man angeschossen wir hat man auch keine Waffe mehr in der Hand
5. Warum fliegt die ganze Zeit Arti runter?
6. blabla schrieb: hi spiel grad auf eurem server fände es gut wenn ihr die taste für das aufnehmen einer waffe auf die use-taste(f) setzen würdet da man sonst beim luft anhalten mit dem sniper immer die waffe wechselt (laut in war es vorher so wie er es beschreibt)

Anmerkung die Configen hatte ich ausgetauscht weil die neue übersichtlicher ist.
P.S. muss leider mehrere Beiträge schreiben den meine Anliegen mit Conifg sidn 49000 Zeichen lang und erlaubt sind nur 20000.
P.P.S Nicht böse sein aber kann es nicht anders erklären

Und CoD2 1.0 funzt nicht mit (AM) 2.105! Must da eine ganz alte Version Nutzen.
Klar geht doch bei mir (siehe hier 85.131.253.52:28960)
Frage 1 war: Wo muss die Config NUR drin sein, den ich glaube standartmaässig war sie in Main ordern und nun habe ich in den 3 Ordner ( admiral_mod_1_543 + am_2105R + main ) eine config. Habe warscheinlich irgenwo mal eine ausversehen reingetan und nun ersätze ich immer alle 3 ^^

Der Config ist so ziemlich egal wo sie liegt. Entweder entscheidest du dich für den aktivierten Modordner oder für den Main-Ordner.
Meinen Main-Ordner halte ich immer clean, so daß bei mir die Configs immer im jeweilig dazu passenden Modordner liegen. Wenn ich dann einen neuen Mod testen will, erstelle ich einfach einen neuen Mod-Ordner (fs_game neuermodordner) und haue dort die dazu benötigten configs rein. Wenn mir der neue Mod nicht gefällt, restarte ich wieder den alten Mod (fs_game altermodordner).
Da bei dir AM 2105R läuft, kannst du den Ordner main oder den Ordner am_2105R benutzen. (ich hätte am_2105R genommen). Das geht natürlich nur, wenn du den den Server mit unterschiedlichen fs_game-Parametern starten kannst.

Ein kleines Kompatibilitätsproblem gab es bei mir: Das Menü mit der Auswahl für Team, Waffen, Zuschauen etc. erschien erst, wenn ich ESC gedrückt habe. Aber damit kann man leben (eventuell hat bei mir ein anderer Mod im main-Ordner gestört).
Letztendlich hat aber der Admiral-Mod bei mir kein Wohlgefallen gefunden, da ich das Map/Gametype-Vote-System äußerst bescheiden finde und es zudem noch immer nicht möglich ist, für Custom-Maps voten zu lassen.
Was die Waffenauswahl angeht, dürfte der Admiral inzwischen die Nase vorn haben.
