hi,

ich möchte auf meinem server (AWE a3b10) next map vote einstellen, aber so, das die auswahl nach ende der map kommt.
meine awe.cfg habe ich wie folgt verändert:

meine config_mp.cfg habe ich wie folgt geändert:

set g_allowvote "0"


dannach habe ich die config_mp.cfg neu gestartet....in dieser befindet sich auch der startbefehl für awe.cfg


leider funktioniert das next map vote aber nicht, was habe ich falsch gemacht, oder was muss ich noch einstellen?
durch die suchfunktion bin ich leider nicht weiter gekommen

Die Einstellungen passen, ich bin mir nur nicht sicher, ob du die richtigen Configs editiert hast.

Also versuche ich es mal so:
Normalerweise besitzt man so etwas wie eine Start-Config. Wie diese Config bei dir benannt ist, hängt von den Startparamtern deines Servers ab. (Beliebte Namen sind: server.cfg, dedicated.cfg, start.cfg, config.cfg).

Dort unterbindet man das Standard-Voting mit folgenden Befehlen:
set scr_allow_vote "0"
set g_allowvote "0"
set g_oldVoting "0"

Hinweis: Achte darauf, dass diese Befehle nicht noch einmal irgendwo in einer Config gesetzt sind und diese Werte wieder überschreiben!

Am Ende deiner Start-Config sollte die awe.cfg aufgerufen werden:
wait
exec awe.cfg

Soweit so gut.
Da du deine awe.cfg bereits richtig geändert hast, mußt du eigentlich nur noch den Server neu starten (oder manuell die Start-Config ausführen).
Anschließend einmal manuell die Map rotieren und ab dann sollte es auf jeden Fall klappen.

als start config habe ich eine config_mp.cfg, (Server war mit cod2 + AWE vorinstalliert und die configs habe ich beibehalten, nur inhaltlich geändert) in dieser config befindet sich fast am ende der befehl exec awe.cfg.

ich habe alles so eingestellt, wie du beschrieben hast und anschließend meine config_mp.cfg neu gestartet und per hand die maps rotieren lassen, aber ein map voting am ende der maps kommt immer noch nicht unglücklich

Sorry, für mich sieht es immer noch ok aus.

Gibt es einen Consolen-Log? Viellecht kann man dann erkennen, warum Next Map Vote nicht ausgeführt wird. Oder liegen bei dir noch andere (störende) Mods im main- oder Modordner?

meinst du sowas "console_mp_server.log" verwirrt
nein, so eine log datei habe ich nicht, weiß auch nicht, wie ich z.B. in der console den befehl für diese infos eingeben muss

Nicht wirklich, aber ich sehe zumindest, dass du mehrere Mods gleichzeitig verwendest. Mach mal alles raus, was nicht zu AWE gehört und teste dann.

ok, das wären dann bei mir die slimsweapons, der quakeheadshot und der compas.......sonst habe ich nur noch die b2.iwd und die maps drin
